%X This work pretend to make visible the job of traditional midwives in Colombia,
specifically in the pacific region in the light of its social context, cultural, religious,
economic and politic. The above, understanding that all the practical positions and
theoretical of traditional midwives are based in ancestral and cultural beliefs
embedded in a popular environment.
